Activities | Your take an afternoon flight FM9265 (14:20-15:25) from Shanghai to Huangshan City near the Yellow Mountains. On arrival your private English speaking guide meet with you, and you transfer in private transportation to Tunxi City to check in at your hotel. Then you take a stroll along famous Tunxi Ancient Street with its charming 800 year old houses. If you get hungry there are many good and cozy restaurants along Ancient Street, and the old stone bridge, dating back to the Ming Dynasty and found just next to the west end entrance to Ancient Street. It is a ten minute walk to the hotel from here, along the Xin'an River. |

Activities | You drive to the Yellow Mountains and take the cable car up to North Peak, from where you walk to your hotel (approx. 45-60 minutes). After check in you may continue to explore the mountain with the help of your guide or on your own if you so prefer. Some of Huangshan's most famous viewpoints are not far from the hotel (when checking out from the Tunxi hotel in the morning we suggest to only bring simple luggage, and leave the large luggage at the hotel for pick-up the following day, as it is difficult to bring along the varying paths on the mountain. Alternatively you can hire a porter for to help at approx. 100 RMB/pcs.) |

Activities | In the morning you can relax in the coffee shop at the hotel or continue to visit the nearby scenic areas until it is time to go down. You walk back to the North Peak, and today you can choose between going back the same way or going a shorter, but harder route (please consult with your guide). After lunch you drive to Wuyuan in neighbouring Jiangxi Province (1.5-2h). On the way you stop to visit beautiful and laid-back Xiaoqi Village and the Moon Bay, then continue to Wuyuan and check-in. |

Activities | Today you go on a day tour to “the village of long life” – Hongcun. Hongcun is hidden away in the low mountains north of Wuyuan and sees far fewer visitors than its counterpart in Anhui. On the way back to Wuyuan you pass the Dragon Sky Pagoda, and also stop at the Rainbow Bridge in Qinghua, before visiting Wuyuan Museum back in town. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own. |

Activities | The morning is free until check out. Tonight you fly back to Shanghai from Huangshan Tunxi Airport, and on the way there you visit Likeng Village, famed as one of the most beautiful of all the Jiangxi villages. Little streams runs between the whitewashed houses. After visiting Likeng you continue to Tunxi, where you have dinner before a late evening flight back to Shanghai. |

Keeping our guests' comfort in mind, we prefer to stay in a 2* or 3* hotel in or close to the attraction, rather than a 4* or 5* hotel much further away. Genuine China Tours' all-encompassing hotel policy is that we will never pick a hotel only because of its price. All our partner hotels must live up to a strict quality test that includes: 1. Geographical location - the location of our chosen hotel is of great importantce, both in large cities, where traffic congestion can play a vital role in the handling of the tour, and also on tours to remote villages, where the right choice of village or hotel can mean a world of difference to the tour. 2. Quality of hotel - including room size and cleanliness, quality of breakfast, ease of getting in/out and more. 3. Local environment - local environment should include local sights (when possible), be in the vicinity of local markets/night markets (if any) and have access to shops and convenience stores (if any). 4. Design and layout of hotel - we prefer hotels with history and atmosphere, especially if these have relevance with the sight(s) at the destination. 5. Value for money - any hotel must pass requirements 1-3 and 5. If a hotel passes all five requirements it becomes a Priority Hotel.
Also important: 1. Please perform a thorough health check before traveling. If your health is not good enough please refrain from traveling. Most major tourist destinations in China have good health care services, but on tours to remote or high altitude destinations you should make sure your health allows you to travel to these destinations. Genuine China Tours will bear no responsibility in case of any accident, relapse or discomfort. 2. Disabled persons should be accompanied by by their own aid instruments or an accompanying person. Genuine China Tours can not provide aid instruments. 3. While traveling please adhere to instructions from your guide and stay clear of any dangers and/or annoyances. 4. On tours to remote areas or high altitude areas accommodation and restaurants may not be up to standart. You should be prepared for this if choosing a tour to these areas. 6. Please make sure to bring items that may be necessary, like windproof jacket, umbrella, sun screen (sun lotion), health related articles, items of personal nature etc. 7.
